    Job Overview

    Assist in all phases of seed production, conditioning, warehousing and shipping to gain a better understanding of AgReliant Genetics and seed production.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with daily production operations as required (product returns, rebag, retag, field activities, etc.)
    • Work in both plant & warehouse
    • Assist with field inspections
    • Complete a special project & present finding to AgReliant employees at the end of the summer
    • Ensure safety rules are followed at all times
    • Maintain housekeeping of plant
    • Learn about the AgReliant brands
    • Maintain a high level of customer service & professionalism
    • Project a positive image of AgReliant Genetics
    • Other duties as assigned
     
     

    Qualifications

    • College freshmen, sophomores or juniors who are interested in agriculture
    majoring in an ag-related field

     

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and common PC-based software
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Work required hours
    • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
    • Able to walk fields & operate machinery as needed
    • Must have valid driver’s license & meet MVR guidelines of Company
    • Some overnight travel required
