    Job Overview

    Responsible for representing AgReliant Genetics in the sale and distribution of its seed products to dealers or customers based on brand assignment. This is an entry level sales training position designed to prepare individuals for a sales/account management position within the assigned brand (AgriGold Hybrids or LG Seeds).

    Responsibilities

    • Work with designated managers to learn the seed business, brand and AgReliant Genetics organization.
    • Participate in rotational assignments in various functional areas to learn other aspects of the organization.
    • Assist in the active recruiting of new customers or dealers for assigned brand.
    • Attend and participate in Sales & Marketing meetings and other Company functions as required.
    • Learn digital agriculture tools to enhance the selling process.
    • Submit all reports and projects required in a timely manner.
    • Maintain appearance of Company vehicle and equipment.
    • Project a positive image of AgReliant Genetics, assigned brand and act in accordance with the Company’s Core Values.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or related field
    • Knowledge of seed industry preferred

    • No previous seed sales experience is necessary 

     


    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Ability to maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Available to relocate as required

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • Ability to work required hours and travel as necessary
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR & DOT guidelines
    • Some overnight travel required
