    Job Overview

    This position provides technical support services to customers, dealers and sales personnel in order to promote brand products and resolve customer problems and complaints about product performance; lends service to the sales force as needed; required extensive contact with AgReliant Genetics Breeders and other potential genetics suppliers.


    • Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism
    • Responsible for projecting a positive image of AgriGold and AgReliant Genetics.
    • Co-responsible with the Agronomy Manager for the selection of the product line-up for the assigned sales regions.
    • Supervision of field testing program in the assigned market including university testing, dealer and county plots (coordinated with the sales force), support to AgReliant Genetics Research NET testing programs.
    • Analysis of experimental data.
    • Writing newsletters, seed guides and other communication documents.
    • Training of sales force and service to the customer base.
    • Provide technical support to the Regional Sales Managers and Corn Specialist as needed.
    • Participates in Product Advancement Meetings, Production Meetings and Regional Meetings in the assigned market.
    • AgriGold Agronomy Manager Responsibilities may be assigned at corporate level for one of the products the brand markets. This includes overall supervision of product line-ups in all regions that sell the given product.
    • Maintain appearance of company vehicle and equipment in an acceptable manner.
    • Other duties as required.

    Duties and responsibilities may be revised as needed by the Agronomy Manager and/or the Brand Manager either verbally and/or in writing.


    • Bachelor degree in agronomy or related field desired, Masters degree and CCA preferred.
    • Five years previous experience preferred; knowledge of seed industry.
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS office.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
    • Positive team player.
    • Ability to work required hours, overnight travel required.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Must have valid driver’s license and meet Company MVR guidelines.
