    Job Overview

    As a member of the LG Seeds Marketing Team, this position will be responsible for helping develop and implement the marketing and communications strategy for the brand, having a direct impact on how LG Seeds products are perceived in the marketplace. You must possess superb written and verbal communication skills and have in-depth knowledge of marketing trends. Duties will be diverse and multi-faceted, therefore excellent professional skills are vital for this role

    Responsibilities

    1. Assist in the creation and implementation of the marketing and communications strategies and champion the brand identity and voice across all developed materials
    2. Facilitate the development of written and visual/multimedia content for both print and web including the company website, social media, brochures, newsletter and direct mail
    3. Effectively coordinate the development, design, approval, production, and distribution of marketing collateral in partnership with the Design Coordinator
    4. Develop and implement regional marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness for LG Seeds in local regional methods
    5. Conduct frequent internal and external in-person interviews with employees and key dealers across the LG footprint to be used across multiple channels
    6. Develop and oversee the communications calendar for both internal and external audiences to ensure timely execution of the marketing strategy
    7. Work with our key vendor partners including our agency and print vendors
    8. Coordinate and facilitate weekly team calls to discuss current marketing projects and their status
    9. Other duties as assigned
     
    Duties and responsibilities may be revised as needed by Leadership.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Communication or related field desired; proven excellence with written and verbal communications; ability to work with a team as a member and a leader; detail orientated; strong computer skills – Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Publisher, Word, Photoshop and design software; demonstrated time management skills and strong work ethic; knowledge of seed industry preferred.
     
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Ability to work required hours and travel as necessary; ability to lift 50 lbs.; must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR guidelines; some overnight travel required.
