    Job Overview

    This position is responsible for the coordination and promotion of the Quality Management System within the Product Inventory department.  This position will work closely with the employees within the production department, production locations, and third-party partners as well as personnel within the quality laboratory.  All efforts of this position are to increase customer satisfaction.  

    Responsibilities

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES:
    1. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
    2. Project a positive image of AgReliant Genetics.
    3. Manage all soybean/alfalfa quality data to ensure all seed sold meets legal and AgReliant quality standards.
    4. Coordinate field inspections.
    5. Monitor seed quality from field to finished goods.
    6. Collaborate with the Soybean Supply Chain Analyst to select the highest quality seed for conditioning.
    7. Monitor/audit conditioning plants for quality output.
    8. Audit soybean inventory.
    9. Issue Retag Rework orders as needed for both soybeans and alfalfa.
    10. Manage soybean Customer Service Calls.
    11. Facilitate and manage the preventative/corrective actions concerning quality of product.
    12. Coordinate inventory selection of soybeans for sales plot testing and other projects.
    13. Maintain the quality status by lot within the ERP system.
    14. Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards to ensure continuous improvement.
    Duties and responsibilities may be revised, as needed by Leadership.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
     
    B.S. degree in agricultural related field preferred; demonstrated experience in seed operations, supply management and wholesale purchasing and marketing desired; excellent communication skills, team player; detail oriented; good computer skills – Excel, Access, and Word; knowledge of seed industry and soybean quality assurance preferred.
