    Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
    2. Responsible for projecting a positive image of AgriGold and AgReliant Genetics.
    3. Co-responsible with the Agronomy Manager for the selection of the product line-up for the assigned sales regions.
    4. Supervision of field testing program in the assigned market including university testing, dealer and county plots (coordinated with the sales force), support to AgReliant Genetics Research NET testing programs.
    5. Analysis of experimental data.
    6. Writing newsletters, seed guides and other communication documents.
    7. Training of sales force and service to the customer base.
    8. Provide technical support to the Regional Sales Managers and Corn Specialist as needed.
    9. Participates in Product Advancement Meetings, Production Meetings and Regional Meetings in the assigned market.
    10. AgriGold Agronomy Manager Responsibilities may be assigned at corporate level for one of the products the brand markets. This includes overall supervision of product line-ups in all regions that sell the given product.
    11. Maintain appearance of company vehicle and equipment in an acceptable manner.
    12. Other duties as required. Duties and responsibilities may be revised as needed by the Agronomy
    13. Manager and/or the Brand Manager eitherverbally and/or in writing.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in agronomy or related field desired, Masters degree and CCA preferred.
    • Five years previous experience preferred; knowledge of seed industry.
    • Excellent working knowledge of MS office.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
    • Positive team player.
    • Ability to work required hours, overnight travel required.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Must have valid driver’s license and meet Company MVR guidelines.
