This position is responsible for supporting customer account management from order entry through annual settlement. This is a trainee opportunity for learning and supporting LG Seeds Customer Service department with current needs and future roles.


1. Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.

2. Responsible for projecting a positive image of LG Seeds and AgReliant Genetics.

3. Responsible for supporting the sales administrative functions:
   • Customer needs:
      o Handles inbound telephone calls at location
      o Assists with the resolution of customer questions or problems
      o Follows-up with customer questions and responds appropriately
      o Provides the customer with account information as requested
   • Clerical and office:
      o Support Regional and District Sales Managers
      o Assists with mailings to customers, including letters, postcards, customer meetings
      o Provide sales and other required reports
   • Assists in coordinating customer shipments:
      o Makes changes to the order based on product availability, per knowledge of District Sales Manager
      o Contacts customers to schedule delivery of product
      o Works with the Shipping Coordinator to maintain a smooth shipping flow
   • Operates ERP sales computer software for entering:
      o Customer database records
      o Booking and conformation orders placed by customers
      o Releasing orders that are confirmed
      o Preparing product pick documents for tracking shipments
      o Product invoices shipped to customers
      o Calculate credits and debits for customer accounts
      o Customer account settlements at the end of the sales year
   • Assists others at the location as needed:
      o Cover the activities when a CSS is absent or needs assistance
      o Other administrative and sales support as required
      o Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment throughout the office
4. Other duties as required

Duties and responsibilities may be revised as needed by the Customer Service Manager and/or the Business Manager either verbally and/or in writing.



High School diploma required. Associates degree in business or accounting preferred; customer service driven; excellent communication skills; team player; detail orientated; good computer skills – Excel and Word; knowledge of seed industry preferred.



Ability to work required hours; ability to lift 25 lbs.
